Description: Skills House successfully delivered an Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) training program for 42 public sector employees of Kirkuk Governorate. The training aimed to enhance participants’ understanding and proficiency in conducting assessments to evaluate the potential environmental impacts of proposed projects and activities.

The EIA training covered various essential topics, including the principles and concepts of environmental impact assessment, relevant legal frameworks and regulations, assessment methodologies, data collection and analysis, and mitigation measures. Participants gained insights into best practices for identifying and assessing potential environmental risks and impacts, as well as strategies for developing effective mitigation and monitoring plans.
